TAY SIEW CHOON
Tay Siew Choon retired recently as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of STPL and Dy Chairman & CEO of Green Dot Capital Pte Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of STPL. He has been a board member of STPL since November 1995. He was the chairman of Singapore Computer Systems Ltd, and current Chairman of SNP Corporation Ltd and NexGen Financial Holdings Ltd. He is also board member of SembCorp Industries Ltd, ST Telemedia Pte Ltd and PSA Corporation Limited. Prior to STPL, Siew Choon was the Managing Director and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of SembCorp Industries, an integrated services group and one of Southeast Asia's largest technology, infrastructure and logistics company formed from the merger of Singapore Technologies Industrial Corporation Ltd ("STIC") and Sembawang Corporation Limited on 5 October, 1998. He was a key member of the STIC management team for many years, being its Executive Vice President from April 1993 and thereafter, its Deputy President and then President of STIC in November 1995. His association with STIC began in December 1985 when he joined SCS as its Chief Executive Officer. Under his leadership, SCS grew from a local operation to become one of the largest systems houses in the Asia-Pacific Region with operations in Australia, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Thailand and in the United Kingdom and the United States. Prior to joining SCS, Siew Choon was, for a period of eight years, a director and the Group General Manager of South Pacific Textiles Berhad, a public listed corporation with interests in manufacturing, property development and construction in Singapore and Malaysia. Siew Choon graduated from Auckland University in 1970 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) with Honours under a Colombo Plan Scholarship. He also holds a Masters of Science in Systems Engineering from the former University of Singapore and is a member of the Institute of Engineers Singapore and the Professional Engineers Board. He is also co-inventor of two patents, no. 5,809,296 (1998) and 5,701,466 (1997).
WILLIAM LIU W. H.
Bill Liu started his career in the IT industry after obtaining his B.Sc (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Manchester, UK and a M.Sc in Operational Research & Management Studies from the Imperial College of London. Prior to joining Green Dot Capital, Bill was the President & CEO of ABACUS International, Asia's premier Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and Computer Reservations Systems (CRS), and a joint venture company with Sabre, Inc of USA. At ABACUS headquarters, he was responsible for ABACUS' operations that span 20 countries in the Asia Pacific. During the period Bill was with ABACUS (1993 to 2001), the company's revenue and profits grew approximately four times. Bill also represented ABACUS on the Board of INFINI, the joint-venture Computer Reservation System (CRS) of ABACUS in Japan. Prior to joining ABACUS, Bill worked for a major multi-national computer manufacturer. In a career spanning 22 years, Bill has risen through various technical, sales, marketing and management positions to the positions of Regional Vice President for Asia and concurrently the non-executive Chairman of the Singapore operations. Bill is a Board member of Singapore Computer Systems, Safe2Travel Pte Ltd, SISTIC.Com Pte Ltd, W3Angels.com Pte Ltd, Mobile Solutions and Payment Services Pte Ltd, Ensop Pte Ltd and the Institute of Systems Science. He is currently the co-chairman of the Singapore British Business Council and Chairman of the Singapore IT Dispute Resolution Advisory Committee (SITDRAC). He was the Chairman of the Singapore Federation of the Computer Industry (SFCI) from 1995 to 1998 and a Board member of the Singapore National Computer Board. He is also a past President of the Operational Research Society of Singapore.
Andy Quak has acquired, built and led several ICT (Infocomm Technology) and media investments since 1999 and was appointed Chairman of Airgateway Pte Ltd on August 1st 2002. As Regional Vice President of Mitsui Oil Asia Pte Ltd, a US$5.5b oil trader, from 1995 to 1999, Andy also sat on its four-member Tokyo investment committee for downstream oil and gas. He headed the investment and planning department reporting to the CEO and board director of listed Singapore Petroleum Company from 1992 to 1995. He held key positions as director and board secretary of the Construction Industry Development Board, Singapore from 1988 to 1992. From 1990 to 1992 Andy was Deputy Chairman of Building Construction Industry Practice Committee, which supervised 17 national code committees; and a member of the JTC R&D Advisory Committee from 1991 to 1993. He was Council Member of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) from 1991 to 1995, its Assistant Honorary Secretary, and later became a Fellow of IES in 1997. Andy graduated with First Class Honours in Engineering Science from Oxford University, England in 1980 and is a Registered Professional Engineer. He holds an MSc and MBA from the National University of Singapore and wrote a book “Marketing Abroad” which is currently being used for the MSc Programme at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Hsieh Fu Hua, a founding Partner of PrimePartners Group is currently on leave of absence to take up an appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Stock Exchange of Singapore (SGX). A former Group Managing Director of the BNP Prime Peregrine Group (a joint venture founded by PrimePartners), he has over 27 years of experience in merchant banking in Asia. PrimePartners is an independent private equity firm managing US$300 million of funds with offices in Singapore and Hong Kong. Prior to forming PrimePartners Group in 1994, Fu Hua was Chief Executive of Morgan Grenfell Asia Holdings Pte Ltd, the regional holding company which directed the group's Asian investment banking, stockbroking and fund management activities. From 1983 to 1985, Fu Hua headed the Singapore branch of Lloyds Bank International. Fu Hua served on the boards of several country funds and was a non-executive director of Capitaland, The East Asiatic Company Ltd A/SÂ and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Singapore Institute of Management. Quek Peck Lim is currently Chairman of Prime Partners Corporate Finance[PPCF], Co-Founder and Partner of PrimePartners Asset Management, Inc, and has over 11 years of experience in stockbroking. Peck Lim was formerly Managing Director of Securities and Research, BNP Prime Peregrine. Prior to establishing PrimePartners, Peck Lim was Director of Research for Morgan Grenfell (Asia) Group where under his research leadership, Morgan Grenfell Asia & Partners Securities Pte Ltd was voted the top research house in Singapore equities by the Global Investor Magazine in 1989 and by Asiamoney Magazine in 1990, 1992 and 1993. Peck Lim was himself voted the Top Analyst in Singapore and among the Top Ten Analysts in Asia in 1992 by professional fund managers.

Hugo is the Regional Managing Director of NIB Capital Bank, a financial institution specialising in long-term lending with a shareholders' equity of 2.394 billion euros as at 2000. Hugo is responsible for generating profits for banking activities in Asia as well as in the development of asset management in Asia Pacific. Hugo started his career as a corporate lawyer for Van Ommeren and later moved into the running and managing of trading businesses. His wide-ranging assignments have taken him to various countries in Europe, the Middle East and Far East. His strength lies in restructuring businesses and bringing them up to a profitable status. Hugo came to Singapore in 1994 where he took on the appointment of Regional Managing Director, Asia Pacific of Van Ommeren Tank Terminals, a tank storage/shipping company. Hugo holds a Masters Degree in Civil & Commercial Engineering from the Netherlands and is multi-lingual in 5 languages including Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Malaysia.
