Winston Tan, managing director of Corporate Brokers International, today bought over a minority stake in W3 from Greendot Capital [a 100% Temasek subsidiary]. Winston will sit on W3’s board. Bill Liu, incumbent chairman and Temasek’s representative, will continue as W3’s chairman. With an experienced banker and successful private investor like Winston on board, W3 is looking at enhanced synergy for its investees to scale up to capital markets and to expand its quality deal pipeline.
